This is part of the reason I'm fat - Chipotle!


I went to the site below and calculated how many calories are in the Chipotle burrito I always get - 655 calories! That doesn't even include the extra cheese I usually get - that probably easily adds another 100 calories - so we're probably looking at 755 calories - for one meal! Oh my gosh! Geez! That's like 3 normal size snicker bars! No more! It's the Chipotle that has contributed to the cellulite! Here is my negative inspiration for the day.

Diet and Exercise off to a good start - but it's early


Last night ended badly with a huge burrito that must have had 1000 calories - and I wonder why I've gained weight (well I don't really wonder why).

Today is a new day! I will focus just on today. Eating healthy (no candy, diet soda (I really believe the fake sugar in diet soda makes you crave more sweets) and I made it to the early spinning class. I'm just going to focus on today and making it count.

EVIL PMS!!!!!


PMS is evil and so unfair. I was doing great with food today and then I had to have both salt and sugar so I ate a bag of Cheez Its - man those are good - and four mini snickers and one mini reese's peanut butter cup. UGH! I must admit, I did feel better afterwards - except for the guilt. I have to shake it off and get back on track for the rest of the day. This needs to include working out tonight because when the alarm went off at 5:20am this morning - I just turned it off! UGH

Everytime I want to eat a candy bar I'm going to look at this blog and the celebrity inspirations

Why do I have so many celebrity weight loss inspirations - because when I want to shove a candy bar in my fat face at 3pm I'm going to go here instead and tell myself that these women that are in great shape DO NOT SHOVE CANDY BARS IN THEIR FACES and do not make a million excuses to avoid exercise!

Celebrity Weight Loss Inspiration - Debra Messing


She lost a ton of weight while on Will & Grace - pulling a Jennifer Aniston - started out plump (although in real life I'm sure she was thin) and then getting really thin during the show. After her baby, she said it took her 3 years to lose 42 pounds, but look at her on this recent cover. She is a total inspiration.

Daily Inspiration - Elle Macpherson



















Elle Macpherson is my hero. Her boyfriend left her with two kids when she was in her late 30s/early 40s. She had let herself go a little (come on - she's still a supermodel). But she picked herself up and got back into shape and is rockin it hard now! I think she is one of the most naturally beautiful women in the world! Go Elle!






Love that she is at the age where she is wearing the hat in the sun and the big sunglasses to avoid the wrinkles!

Back to Group Exercise


I haven't been to group exercise classes in probably 2 to 2.5 years because I couldn't get them to work. I now remember, when I was thin, I used to go to group classes almost everyday - mainly spinning. I think a big problem is even when I get to the gym (which is not on a regular basis) I don't work out very hard. This goes for both cardio and weight lifting. I'm looking at the group classes as having my own personal trainer to push me for free.


I went to spinning at 6am, which meant I had to get up at 5:20am. This is insane to me on a Friday, which is the only day I usually like to sleep in. I thought I'd be the only one crazy enough to be there - I was completely wrong. The entire class was almost full and everyone was in amazing shape - and I was probably the youngest person there. It was half men and half women. I'm already sore, but it was fabulous! Here's to more group exercise classes!
P.S. - I did not have the courage to weigh myself due to PMS. I know it will be the highest ever so I'm giving myself a few days to a week to be good with eating and exercise before I weigh myself!
